EHCC prides itself on the quality of its course offerings. In harmony with that, the Council has taken steps to have its courses NATE and/or BPI accredited. This means that each time a NATE or BPI certified technician attends an approved EHCC course and signs the appropriate attendance record, credits will be applied to the technician’s continuing education record. For NATE technicians, earning 16+ hours of continuing education credits during the 2 year certification period means the technician will not need to retest in order to recertify. BPI technicians who complete 30 hours of qualified continuing education during the 3 year certification period will need to pass a field exam only (in each designation) to recertify.
